Green tea is produced using the leaves from Camellia sinensis, the same plant from which Black tea is produced. Black Tea is Fermented to give it a dark colour. On the other hand Green Tea is made from unfermented leaves. Green tea originated in China , but it has become associated with many cultures throughout Asia. Green tea has recently become relatively widespread in the West where black tea has been the traditionally consumed tea.
